Food Animal Practice

Food animal practice certificationThe American Board of Veterinary Practitioners is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association to provide board certifications in nine species categories, including Food Animal. Veterinarians who certify in this category become ABVP-boarded Diplomates, certified in Food Animal Practice. Food Animal is the broadest of ABVP’s food production categories, which also include Dairy Practice, Beef Cattle Practice and Swine Health Management.

Whether you are considering or actively pursuing ABVP certification in Food Animal Practice, the following documents will help explain the application and exam process.
