The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association to provide board certifications in ten species categories, including Dairy. Veterinarians who certify in this category become ABVP-boarded Diplomates, certified in Dairy Practice. Dairy is the largest of ABVP’s food production categories, which also include Beef Cattle Practice, Food Animal Practice and Swine Health Management.
